Hi David,
I’m not sure which are the best varieties for this system since I have not tried it, but from what I have read it could give problems in varieties with difficulty to fruit on old wood (Regina). This makes in my opinion an interesting system for a large number of cherry varieties.
However, before making a large plantation, I would try to test the behavior of the varieties on the growing area for a few years.

UFO Regina (low production)
UFO-V: Lapins and Skeena (recommended in the studies I have analyzed).

Hi Murad,

I have consulted several cherry tree nurseries in California and they do not have the variety. I’m not sure if it has a different name for USA or it is because they prefer to grow other varieties.
